Constellation Brands offers a dynamic internship opportunity in the field of accounting and finance, designed to provide hands-on experience across Payroll and Accounts Receivable functions. Interns will collaborate with professionals, develop a deeper understanding of financial processes, and contribute to initiatives impacting the company's financial health and employee experience.
Responsibilities
Under general supervision perform payroll calculation and processing activities to ensure employees are paid timely and accurately
Perform and/or assist in the completion of ad-hoc general payroll responsibilities such as creation and publishing of a pay calendar, participation in government surveys, and completion of tax processing, amendments, and remittances
Support all Payroll responsibilities required for period close, including reconciliations, and determine accrual adjustments as required
Assist with documentation of procedures and controls
Ad hoc reporting and analysis as assigned
All Interns will participate in pre-planned intern events such as Senior Leader Meetings, Goal Setting, Team Building Tour and Final Presentations
Review customer financial statements to establish credit.
Assist with customer data management.
Assist with credit policies
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate major in Accounting, Business or Finance.
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Proficiency with personal computers and associated word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software
Excellent communication skills required (both verbal and written)
Understanding of basic accounting and finance, analytical skills, excel skills and attention to detail
Initiative and results oriented
Ability to build productive relationships
Preferred
candidate completed three years of undergraduate studies
