DaVita Kidney Care is a company focused on providing exceptional care to patients with kidney disease. They are seeking an Intern to support the Financial Reporting Group by assisting with various accounting processes and driving efficiency through automation using Alteryx and AI.
Responsibilities
Help design and implement automation opportunities within financial reporting processes using Alteryx and AI
Assist with the preparation and posting of journal entries
Perform daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly transactions objectively and productively according to department policies and procedures
Coordinate and communicate with other teammates to ensure the consistency of processes
Plan, schedule, and facilitate meetings and teambuilding activities as necessary
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes
Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed
Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor in Business (Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems) completed or in progress required
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required

Preferred
Familiarity with or strong desire to learn data analytics and automation tools (e.g., Alteryx) and AI concepts preferred
Prior experience writing reports and correspondence preferred
