CN is a premium railroad committed to safety and service, and they are seeking an Intern for their Internal Audit team. The role involves assisting with Internal Audit projects, performing audit procedures and data analysis, and contributing to the evaluation of business processes and controls.
Responsibilities
Assist in the execution of Internal Audit projects
Carry out audit procedures and data analysis to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of business processes
Perform audit work in accordance with professional standards
Provide documentation in support of Internal Audit findings
Evaluate information and provide a preliminary assessment
Assist in the preparation of audit reports and management action plans
Qualification
Required
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Time management skills
Ability to work in a team
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)
Experience in data analytics
Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in one of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information and Technology (I&T) or other areas related to the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) profile
Preferred
Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
