Herc Rentals is an equipment rental company seeking an FP&A Intern to support its accounting and finance teams. The intern will assist with reporting, journal entries, account reconciliations, internal controls, financial reporting, process refinement, and other finance-related projects.
Responsibilities
Prepares internal reports by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from other systems
Analyzes information by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying information
Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and reconciling accounts
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
Understands and maintains Sarbanes Oxley internal control compliance
Understands financial reporting requirements
Project work as assigned
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance
Currently enrolled in at a university with a minimum GPA of 2.5/3.0 in major
Completed a minimum of 9 credit hours in Accounting major coursework or similar
Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
