Acxiom is seeking a high-potential FP&A Intern to launch a career in corporate finance. The role supports financial planning and analysis through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, executive reporting, and collaboration with Accounting and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements
Support the FP&A team with financial reporting, analysis, and variance explanations
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including data gathering and model updates
Build and maintain Excel-based models, reports, and dashboards
Help prepare materials for monthly and quarterly management reviews
Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and key business drivers
Collaborate with Accounting and cross-functional teams to understand financial results
Take initiative on ad hoc analyses, special projects, and process improvement opportunities
Qualification

The internship will begin January 11th, 2027
20-29 hours/week work dedication during the semester
This intern is expected to work On-site in Conway, AR
Anticipated graduation date between May 2027 - December 2027
Applicants for this internship position with Acxiom in the U.S. must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Acxiom (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (CPT/OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in corporate finance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic analysis)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in the United States for the duration of the internship
Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Curious, analytical, and eager to understand the story behind the numbers
Coachable and open to feedback
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Interested in pursuing a long-term career in finance or FP&A
Preferred
Hands-on experience in corporate FP&A at a global, data-driven company
Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
Mentorship from experienced finance professionals
Development of analytical, technical, and business communication skills
A strong foundation for future internships or full-time roles in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related fields at Acxiom
