Amkor Technology is one of the world's largest providers of outsourced semiconductor packaging and test services. They are seeking a qualified student to intern for the Finance Systems team, providing support in finance transformation and process automation.
Responsibilities
Provide support to the Finance Systems team through its active role in finance transformation at Amkor.
Support process automation through designing, testing, implementing, and monitoring automated workflows using automation software.
Support efforts to identify and optimize business processes that can benefit from automation.
Support in additional projects/ad hoc requests as needed.
Assist with documentation and other administrative project deliverables.
Participate in project meetings and deliver updates to the team.
Present a summary of the projects and recommendations at the end of the internship.
Qualification
Required
Student applicants must be currently enrolled in a four-year accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree with a major in STEM, business, finance, or supply chain management.
Candidate must have completed at least their junior year prior to the start of the internship with active school enrollment throughout the term of the internship (fall and spring semesters)
Candidate must have a minimum 3.2 GPA (based on a 4.0 scale).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High aptitude to learn new concepts and perform tasks with attention to detail.
Motivated, self-starter and ability to manage multiple tasks.
A dynamic 'can do' personality with excellent relationship building skills, and results-oriented approach.
Preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Interested in the Semiconductor packaging industry
Proficient in Python, R, or another programming language
Experience with automation (RPA) systems
