Interns will work across various actuarial departments, gaining exposure to personal and commercial insurance pricing, corporate reserving, data science, and more while developing essential skills.
Responsibilities
Work throughout all actuarial departments including both Property and Casualty businesses and Employee Benefits
Undertake challenging and exciting assignments while sharpening technical, communication and leadership skills
Be exposed to a variety of actuarial functions including personal and commercial insurance pricing, corporate reserving, data science, enterprise risk management, employee benefits, and more
Participate in training in R coding, insurance terminology and technologies used by the actuarial department
Make active contributions towards supporting the company culture
Engage in team building and social events to interact with members of the actuarial community
Qualification
Required
Must be well-rounded, driven candidates who possess excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills
Candidates should be pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in a math, economics, finance, and/or science related field
Candidates should have passed at least one actuarial exam
