CN is a premium railroad committed to safety and service, and they are seeking an Intern for their Accounting Department. The role involves supporting various accounting functions, participating in projects, and identifying process improvements.
Responsibilities
Participate in special projects and system testing
Perform various analyses and reconciliations
Create checklists and procedure documentation
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Qualification
Required
Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)
Excellent communication skills
Planning and organization skills
Deadline focused and results oriented
Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Access
Experience in a call center, collections agency, collection of receivables
Working towards a College or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
Preferred
Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
