They are seeking an Import/Export Summer Intern to review and analyze import and export codes, supporting cost-saving initiatives through detailed data analysis and cross-referencing data spreadsheets and charges.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze import and export codes to determine eligibility for tariff-related rebate opportunities
Support cost recovery initiatives
Support cost-saving initiatives through detailed data analysis
Cross-referencing data spreadsheets and charges
Qualification
Required
Ideal candidate will be pursuing or recently completed coursework in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, Finance, or a related field
Prior import/export experience is helpful but not required; this role is very suitable for someone looking to gain hands-on experience
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to review and compare data across documents (entry summaries, invoices, duty charges, etc.)
Basic understanding of import/export processes (HTS, duties, brokerage)—or willingness to learn
Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large data sets
Good organizational and communication skills
