Responsibilities
Learn and perform core department business group work tasks, processes, and customer services
Accountable for contributing to key functional areas within the Finance department such as journal entries, audit planning, tax compliance, and forecasting
Offer operational support for department business group managers
Develop and execute project action plans and perform team assignments
Build and strengthen a network of professional contacts within departments and across the company
Assist with project management for various company initiatives and complete administrative tasks and special projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be a full-time student
College credits equivalent to one year toward an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Basic organization, prioritization and time/project management skills
Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills
Preferred
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Intermediate computer skills and able to learn UP's Accounting systems and databases in order to successfully accomplish desired project results
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
