Amgen is a biotechnology company focused on serving patients living with serious illnesses. The Grad Intern in Finance will support the Finance team by enhancing finance databases, improving reporting outputs, and streamlining purchase order processes.
Responsibilities
Help build and maintain central finance/leadership reporting databases (e.g., consolidating inputs, improving data structure, and ensuring consistency)
Support optimization of the current Tableau reporting suite (e.g., validating outputs, refreshing views, and proposing enhancements)
Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and data quality, including exploring responsible uses of automation/AI tools where appropriate
Support the team’s PO process workload, including tracking, coordination, and process documentation to help maintain steady operations
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from within the last 3 years) an undergraduate or graduate program in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data sets and repeatable processes
Working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and ability to learn new tools quickly
Able to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and communicate clearly
Preferred
Bilingual (English/French)
Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau and/or Power BI)
Interest in process improvement, automation, and responsible use of AI tools
Familiarity with finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Hyperion) is an asset
