The Fall Intern in Corporate Development will support various processes including financial modeling, due diligence, and preparation of presentation materials for corporate transactions.
Responsibilities
Corporate Model
Assist with reviews and updates of the Corporate Model
Assist with analysis and interpretation of financial projections related to the corporate model, including liquidity forecasting and various scenario analysis
Due diligence support
Collect technical, financial, and market data related to due diligence opportunities
Assist with the compilation and analysis of financial and technical due diligence related data for the evaluation of potential opportunities, including financial filings, technical studies and industry reports
Assist with the development of summary materials and presentations including business proposals to Senior Management and the Board of Directors
Other analysis and responsibilities
Contribute to special projects, as required
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a university degree in Engineering, Geology, Finance, or Accounting
Interest and familiarity with the mining industry and capital markets
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn quickly, flexibility in fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision, including good time-management skills
