HCA Healthcare is an organization that invests in its team members, offering a Corporate Tax Internship program that provides hands-on training and experience in the healthcare tax accounting industry. The role involves working in various tax-related areas including Tax Compliance, Research & Consulting, and Indirect Tax, preparing tax returns and supporting audits.
Responsibilities
Tax Compliance interns are responsible for portions of the federal/state income and franchise tax returns
Indirect Tax interns are involved in tax return preparation, audit support, and other special projects
Research & Consulting interns assist with state income/franchise tax audits and research of tax related issues
You will receive the same training as full-time tax staff members
You will be offered the experience of working with multiple reviewers which provides a rich learning environment
Qualification
Required
Present enrollment in an accredited 4-year accounting or related program OR acceptance into a related master's program upon undergraduate graduation
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Ability to work in-person part-time during the Spring semester and/or full-time in the Summer depending on the internship timeframe
Preferred
Current juniors, seniors, or master’s students preferred
CPA eligibility is not required but is preferred
