IQVIA provides analytics, compliance, and management solutions to the life sciences industry. The FP&A Intern will gain hands-on experience working with the Finance Team, assisting with various financial processes and projects while collaborating with different business units.
Responsibilities
Experience working within a cross-functional team (we partner with Operations, Sales, HR and the business leads)
Assist with closing the books each month (Journal Entries)
Assist with the monthly forecast & annual budget
Exposure to SAP, Hyperion, PSA, Workday, and other financial software
Exposure to a bottoms up corporate budgeting process. We will begin budgeting in mid-summer, the intern will play a pivotal role in helping analyze past trends and aggregating data
Revenue budget by client and product
OPEX budget
FTE/Contractor budget
Ad hoc projects (client reporting, project reporting, product reporting, etc.)
Assist with designing and completing Service Line Review decks for senior management
Exposure to changes within a complex organization (acquisitions, strategic reorganizations, and leadership changes)
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a bachelor’s program – preferably focused in Finance and/or Accounting, Business
Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Quick learner and highly collaborative
Ability to work within well-defined guidelines and procedures.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Able to self-direct
