HMH is a provider of drilling solutions, automation, and digital solutions for drilling customers and related industries. The FP&A Intern will support the Finance team with financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and cross-functional projects that inform business decisions.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, review, and analysis of monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
Support variance analysis by comparing actual results to budget and prior periods
Help develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
Analyze financial and operational metrics to derive business improvement suggestions
Prepare presentations and deliverables to communicate findings to management
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and project work as assigned
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales and Operations) to complete projects and support business objectives
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled at the time internship commences and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Finance, Accounting, and Business majors preferred
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work with large data sets
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status
