The Forensic Accounting Intern will gain real-world experience in investigative accounting engagements, focusing on evaluating damages suffered by businesses due to catastrophes.
Responsibilities
Get real-world experience working with talented professionals in investigative accounting engagements that involve working with commercial property insurers in evaluating physical damage and business income losses suffered by businesses resulting from catastrophes
Projects may include reviewing and analyzing historical financial and industry information, revenue and expense projections, insurance claim evaluations and economic damage evaluations
Assignments provide exposure to a wide range of industries from small local retail stores to multinational entities
Qualification
Required
Junior or senior level student
Accounting major
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Proficient understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel skills that are considered to be an intermediate or advanced level. The candidate should also be open to training in other Windows-based applications
