Otis is the world’s largest elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation and service business. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Operations Finance Department, providing hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and operational support.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements, including 10-Q SEC filing
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred
Prior internship or work experience in finance or operations is a plus.
Hands-on experience in a professional finance environment.
