They are seeking a motivated Financial Planning & Analysis Intern to support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for their finance team. This internship offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to work closely with business leaders and finance professionals.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models used for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning
Analyze monthly financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights
Prepare management reporting packages and dashboards for internal partners.
Support the month-end close process through data gathering, reconciliation, and analysis
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business inputs and validate financial assumptions
Contribute to operational improvement initiatives and automation efforts within the FP&A function
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and support special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Commitment to full-time (40 hour) Summer Internship experience in McKinney, TX from June 2025 - August 2025.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Interest in manufacturing and global business operations
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Power BI) is a plus
