TerrAscend is a cannabis company that provides products, brands, and services to the cannabinoid market. They are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern to gain experience in developing financial models, data consolidation, and reporting while contributing to strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities
Consolidate enterprise data from disparate systems for unified reporting and analysis related to cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, and retail transactions
Develop financial models and reporting dashboards to provide analysis and insights into business decisions, key performance indicators and the ROI of key investments
Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, present insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders
Provide technology or reporting solutions to drive efficiency
Assist in driving project work from end to end to support strategic decisions within the business. This includes the collection of data, creation of model/analysis of trends, and support identification of key issues and turning this into a management level presentation.
Other ad hoc tasks and initiatives as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be currently attending an accredited college or university and working towards a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in finance, accounting, data analytics, computer science, or similar tracks.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have current U.S. work authorization
Preferred
Prior internship and/or work experience within data modeling and/or visualization is preferred, but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong experience within Microsoft Excel preferred
