Arconic is a provider of aluminum products and architectural solutions serving automotive, aerospace, transportation, industrial, and construction markets. The Financial Accounting Intern will support corporate accounting activities, including financial filings, monthly results analysis, accounting policy maintenance, and transaction reviews while working alongside experienced team members.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation and review of external financial filings
Analyzing monthly financial results and summarizing findings for review by senior management
Preparing ad hoc analysis as requested to support Corporate Financial Accounting projects
Provide oversight, maintain, and update the Arconic accounting policy manual, which is used by both financial and nonfinancial personnel
Managing ongoing relationships with personnel within the Business Units and the Resource Units
Qualification
Required
* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration/Management from an accredited institution
* Must have an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring/Summer of 2028
* Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

* Possess strong leadership competencies, strong team and analytical skills, strategic thinking skills, dedication and enthusiasm for work in a fast moving, dynamic environment
* Ability to communicate effectively, especially as part of a team, and the ability to understand complex business issues
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required, along with an overall level of expertise in MS Office environments
* Involvement with one or more extracurricular activities, work-study or off-campus jobs, and/or volunteer positions
