The Finance Transformation: Data & Analytics Intern will support the transformation team by collaborating with stakeholders to develop data visualizations and dashboards, assisting with data analysis, and contributing to process improvements.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs, and gather functional and technical requirements for dashboarding.
In collaboration with IT and business teams, assist in data analysis to identify relevant data sources, understand data structure, and perform potential data cleaning and transformations.
Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards, adhering to data visualization best practices and company standards.
Conduct thorough testing of dashboards to ensure data accuracy, functionality, and usability.
Document the dashboard development process, including data sources, calculations, dashboard logic, and user instructions.
Assist with the deployment of dashboards to Tableau Server (or equivalent platform) and provide post-launch support, including troubleshooting and user guidance.
Contribute ideas and insights to brainstorming sessions aimed at driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Assist worldwide Finance and business teams with completion of tasks as needed.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in digital technology, strategy, and operations.
Basic understanding of data analysis concepts, data visualization principles, and relational databases.
Prior experience with Tableau, even through coursework or personal projects.
Experience working with different data sources (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, APIs).
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a related discipline.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Good teamwork and influencing skills.
Can commit to at least a 12-week internship.
Ability to relocate to the Bay Area, California, for the duration of the internship.
