World Kinect is a global leader in the energy industry, seeking a Summer Finance Intern to join their Finance team. This internship provides undergraduate students with real-world experience in finance, focusing on financial analysis, reporting, and support for ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
Assist with financial analysis, research, and data gathering, summarizing insights in a clear and easy‑to‑understand way
Support the preparation and organization of financial reports, models, and presentations
Help maintain financial data, spreadsheets, and internal tracking tools
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
Pitch in on process improvement initiatives, audits, or internal reviews
Join team meetings, take notes, and help prepare materials for stakeholders
Provide general support to finance team members on ongoing projects
Qualification
Required
Local candidates only - Miami, Florida
Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better
Must be available to work onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in Miami, Florida. (June 1 through August 7th)
An undergraduate student exploring a career in finance, accounting, economics, or business
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel); prior coursework or experience in finance or accounting is a plus
Eagerness and passion to learn with an elevated level of motivation and drive
Extraordinarily strong written and verbal communication skills
Work under minimal supervision and adapt to a dynamic, changing environment
Strong interpersonal and team-working skills
Must be a creative and innovative thinker
