Novo Nordisk is a leading company in the pharmaceutical manufacturing field, seeking a Finance Intern for their West Lebanon, NH location. The intern will gain hands-on experience by assisting in finance functions and contributing to projects that support Finance and Procurement operations.
Responsibilities
Assist the Finance and Indirect Procurement department in preparing and updating standard reports and dashboards
Develop a good understanding of finance and procurement in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
Works on department projects and updates stakeholders according to plan
Proactively build relationships with stakeholders
Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate implementation of best practices for internship project, and be able to present proposals in concise format
Utilizes software and/or systems such as (MS Office, SAP, Concur, etc.) specific to the functional area to gather and generate basic reports, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations
Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes
Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be currently attending an accredited four-year college or university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
Strong academic record
Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc

Preferred
Preferred to be pursuing relevant degree such as: Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, Business, or similar major
Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
