Ameren is a leader in the energy industry, and they are seeking a Finance & Internal Audit Intern for the summer of 2026. The intern will analyze budget variances, assist with budget preparation, and prepare documentation as part of the finance team.
Responsibilities
Analyze and explain budget and forecast variances
Update schedules used for annual labor rate calculations
Assist with budget preparation as needed
Prepare procedure documentation
Review monthly accruals
Qualification
Required
Must be in student status (graduate or undergraduate) pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, MBA from an accredited college or university.
2.5 GPA or higher preferred.
Good understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and teamwork.
