Visa is a world leader in payments technology that facilitates transactions among consumers, merchants, financial institutions, and government entities worldwide. The Finance Intern will support Visa’s North America Financial Planning & Analysis team through financial reporting, data analysis, planning, forecasting, dashboard creation, and finance technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
Support in the maintenance of large and complex datasets of drivers for hundreds of Big Tech and Fintech partners
Collaborate and coordinate cross-functionally with a broad base of stakeholders (i.e. Corporate Finance, FP&A, Strategy, Controllership, etc.)
Analyze monthly and quarterly results, identify and interpret key variances, trends, and insights, present key findings to senior leadership and executive management audience
Learn and understand Visa's financial reporting systems, run data queries, develop financial architecture, and support finance technology initiatives
Develop a foundational understanding of multi-party economic model (issuers, acquirers, processors, interchange, merchants, cardholders, etc.)
Support in the creation of self-served client-based dashboards for business partners
Assist in financial planning, creating budgets, forecasting and management reporting
Qualification
Required
Students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with a graduation date in December 2027-August 2028
All Visa roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work
Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, experience with complex financial or data systems such as Tableau or SQL is a plus
Familiar with forecast modeling and managing large datasets
Analytical, project management, and prioritization skills
Proficient written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work with data and organize in a logical and efficient manner
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and produce time-sensitive deliverables
Ability to manage in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
