Elevance Health is a health company focused on improving lives and simplifying healthcare. The Finance Intern will support strategic financial planning and analysis by assisting with budgets, forecasts, trend analyses, expense accruals, journal data, financial reports, and special projects.
Responsibilities
Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts, trend analyses, and expense accruals
Create and enter financial journal data
Compile and prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports
Assist with special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a BA/BS degree program in Accounting, Finance, or relevant Business-related major at an accredited college or university
Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the Summer internship (5/17/27-7/25/27)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities through academic, extracurricular, professional, or community experiences
Interest or experience using AI-enabled tools for analysis, automation, or productivity
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner
Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral
Interest in the healthcare industry
Preferred
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including the ability to manipulate large data sets are preferred
A graduation date of Dec 2027 or May 2028 is preferred
Orientation to the company and the health benefits industry
