They are seeking a Finance Intern for a 12-week paid internship program that will provide exposure to the grocery and distribution industry while engaging in real-world problem-solving and professional development opportunities.
Responsibilities
While day-to-day responsibilities may vary based on the specific internship, our Finance and Accounting teams ensure we support our business by providing internal and external stakeholders with reporting and analysis with a focus on People, Operational Excellence, and Insights that Drive Solutions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to support projects and achieve shared goals.
Participate in a Capstone Project that applies internship learnings to a business challenge, showcasing research, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Engage in professional development opportunities that may include an executive speaker series, workshops, tours of SpartanNash headquarters, and a day immersed in our Retail environment.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related majors
Be an active student through the summer
Graduate December 2026 or later
Be willing to attend mandatory, in-person events
Microsoft Office proficiency
Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Highly collaborative and resilient to overcome obstacles
Driven and demonstrates a bias for action
Preferred
GPA of 3.0 or greater
Relevant work experience such as a prior internship or campus experience
