ITT Inc. is a leading manufacturer of critical components for harsh environments. They are seeking a Finance Intern to support day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities while gaining hands-on experience with financial systems and processes.
Responsibilities
Shadow Accounts Payable to learn core AP processes and responsibilities
Assist with documenting existing AP workflows and identifying process improvements
Support vendor management activities, including:
Assisting with the transition of vendors
Collaborating with Purchasing and Operations teams to support vendor setup
Assist with vendor setup and processing in QuickBooks
Enter invoices into financial systems, including Serrala and QuickBooks
Develop and maintain a centralized list of key contacts
Assist with the distribution of AR invoices to customers
Provide support on ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new systems
Preferred
Basic understanding of accounting principles
