First Solar manufactures thin film photovoltaic modules and provides PV power plants and supporting services. As a Finance Intern, you will support the Treasury and FP&A teams with financial analysis, budgeting, and cash management while working on a major project to optimize cash flow management.
Responsibilities
Support the Treasury and FP&A teams in various tasks, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
Work on a major project that contributes to the department’s goals, such as developing a financial model to optimize cash flow management.
Administer and optimize the global banking structure.
Manage funding and cash management for global bank accounts.
Resolve cash issues and determine surplus cash for investments.
Support FP&A in cash forecasting.
Provide information for audits and other departments.
Prepare regular cash position reports.
Support intercompany transactions.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field in progress or completed.
Student must be at least a Junior.
Required cumulative GPA: 3.5.

Preferred
Experience in treasury, finance, banking, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with treasury management systems (TMS), Oracle, and PowerBI are a plus.
