ABB provides electrification and automation solutions for various industries. The Finance Intern role offers hands-on experience in financial analysis and business performance evaluation, supporting the Electrification Business and enhancing personal education opportunities.
Responsibilities
Performs analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast and support Controller with improvement actions.
Performs benchmarking of key performance indicators and financial analysis as requested by the controller.
To collect, understand, process, verify and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends.
Provides information to Controller/management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
Maintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/ internal/external audits and reviews.

Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in finance, accounting, economics, or related field in the United States.
Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
