The Finance Intern will provide entry-level support to various groups within the CFO organization, gaining an understanding of corporate finance functions and assisting with accounting and audit responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Assist the Finance Department with data analysis and report preparation
Support audit with planning, testing, and reviewing internal controls within key business processes
Contribute to special projects as assigned, expanding your knowledge and skillset
Participate in team meetings and communicate the status of projects for which you are responsible
Effective time management and personal commitment to work
Practice the corporate Service Keys of Safe, Caring, Efficient, and Reliable
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university are eligible for DT Midstream's Internship program
Students will no longer be eligible to hold an internship position upon graduation from their program unless accepted into another degree program
Graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to begin college in the fall are eligible to apply if they will be at least 18 years old before their start date
A college acceptance letter must be provided
Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required
College students will be asked to provide an official transcript as proof of eligibility before receiving an offer of employment
Must live within a commutable distance from the office and work in-person
Proficiency in computer applications applicable to the specific work field/discipline including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Preferred
Coursework in finance preferred
Knowledge of finance software packages such as NetSuite or equivalent
