Hermès is a luxury retail brand offering an opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial planning & analysis. The Finance Intern will support various financial operations and assist in financial analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with finance team in handling day-to-day financial operations
Support in month end closing and financial reporting preparation
Assist in financial analysis to support business development initiatives and management decision-making
Liaise with cross-functional teams
Create PowerPoint presentations to support financial reporting and analysis
Develop, maintain, and improve financial templates to enhance reporting efficiency
Assist in ad hoc internal control analysis, financial projects and assignments as required
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, or a related discipline
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with knowledge of EXCEL functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and a good team player
In-office Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
Preferred
Knowledge of Power BI, SAP or similar platforms an asset
