Nordstrom is seeking summer interns who are exceptionally motivated to join their finance organization. As a Finance Intern, you will work on strategic projects, gain insights into financial principles, and support the financial cycle while collaborating with experienced team members.
Responsibilities
Get an up-close, behind-the-scenes view of the retail fashion industry that you won’t find in a classroom
Work on a strategic project with milestones, deliverables and deadlines that you’ll get to present directly to company leadership at the end of the summer
Apply and understand fundamental concepts, general administrative principles, practices and procedures of finance and accounting
Provide support for the financial cycle, including variance analysis and insight reporting
Work alongside and learn from experienced members of the finance team
Qualification
Required
Are a college student currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program within Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, etc. and have an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2026, or Spring 2027
Have strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office
Are comfortable using Microsoft Excel to create reports, run queries, and create pivot tables
Build great relationships through stellar communication and follow-through
Thrive in a fast-paced environment thanks to your ace organizational skills and ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
Able to relocate to Seattle for the duration of the 10-week summer internship
