They are seeking a Finance and Accounting Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry, assist with consolidations and investments, and learn about finance and accounting systems.
Responsibilities
Assist with monthly and quarterly tasks of the consolidations and investments department.
Gain exposure to finance and investment accounting activities.
Assist team by performing tasks designed to gain an understanding of consolidation and investment accounting while providing research and information to the team.
Achieve results by setting goals, prioritizing tasks, and staying accountable to stakeholders.
Learn the ins and outs of our finance and accounting systems and processes.
Qualification
Required
Actively completing bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, or related program.
Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
College level - current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior student, with graduation dates ranging from December 2026 – May 2028.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner.
Team player who collaborates effectively.
Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Microsoft Office, including Excel, experience strongly preferred.
