Lockheed Martin is a leading aerospace and defense company dedicated to solving complex challenges. They are seeking a Finance & Business Operations Intern for the Summer of 2026, where the intern will perform financial analysis tasks, including headcount analysis and data management within the Earned Value Management cost system.
Responsibilities
Perform tasks like analysis of headcount, risks, threats, opportunities, overruns, underruns, etc of a specific product area
Utilize reports, pulling exports, and importing data
Working within the Earned Value Management (EVM) cost system (COBRA)
Adhering to EVM principles and processes in accordance with Program Performance Management (PPM) documentation
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related discipline from an accredited college/university.
Excel / Microsoft Office Proficient
Leadership experience in work, extracurricular, college or other related activities
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Preferred
Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau / Power BI / Alteryx) experience
Previous finance intern experience
Community involvement
Experience in Oracle / data warehouses
Ability to solve problems using complex sources of data
Analytical curiosity

Proven ability to learn new skills
