The Finance & Accounting Intern will gain hands-on experience preparing financial reports, analyzing competitors, supporting regulatory filings, performing reconciliations, assisting with forecasts, budgets, and audits, and collaborating across finance and accounting functions.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing financial reports that highlight key performance metrics, trends, and variances to support decision-making
Conduct research on industry competitors to gather insights into financial performance
Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual filings (10-Q, 10-K)
Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
Assist in the preparation of financial reports that highlight key performance metrics, trends, and variances to support decision-making
Assist in building and updating financial forecasts and annual budgets
Assist with audits of key financial and operational controls across various business units
Work cross functionally with other finance and accounting departments (Internal Audit, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Cost Accounting)
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or already achieved a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Eligible to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship
Preferred
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
Desire to work for a manufacturing company
Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Experience utilizing AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and support data-driven decision-making
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
A temporary housing stipend may be available for those residing outside the immediate area of the internship.
