As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you will gain valuable exposure to key financial processes while supporting payroll and fuel accounting, providing hands-on experience in financial operations and reporting.
Responsibilities
Key and verify accuracy of hourly timecards and payroll edit reports
Upload and verify accuracy of Trakit, Bid2Win and Infield payroll data
Key and verify accuracy of equipment usage information
Process payroll and equipment usage according to accounting month end deadlines
Reconcile weekly payroll information including PTO, job cost tracking and prevailing wage data
Ensure that the assigned daily operations are carried out in accordance with established accounting principles, policies and objectives
Assist in daily/weekly fuel entry accounting
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Power Point
Organizational and excellent communication skills required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Consistently reports for work at scheduled work time
Pass pre-employment drug screen
