The Accounting & Finance Immersion is an unpaid experience for freshman and sophomore undergraduate students interested in future Accounting and Finance internships. Participants will gain exposure to accounting and finance business areas, build a professional network, and participate in career development activities.

Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2028 – August 2030
Majoring in or a strong interest in exploring opportunities in Finance and/or Accounting
Demonstrated utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in academic and/or professional settings
Demonstrated leadership experience within a school or student organization setting
Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
Preferred
Progress towards successfully completing at least three accounting courses (each with 3 credit hours) by the time of graduation, with one of the courses being focused on cost or managerial accounting
Dual major or minor in a related field is a plus
Interest or exposure in utilizing systems and tools to visualize and present data in a meaningful way
Interest or exposure in data analysis and ability to perform robust analytics and predictive modeling
Currently enrolled in or completion of an accredited Excel or data visualization tool certificate program or course
Ability to use analytical skills to innovatively solve problems
Proven track record of working collaboratively in teams, being adaptable, innovative, proactive, and maintaining high ethical standards
Previous internship or related experience
Cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher
