The Cost Accounting Analyst Intern will gain hands-on manufacturing experience by reviewing standard costs, identifying margin and data integrity issues, and working with manufacturing engineers to align and maintain bills of materials and routings.
Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity to get hands on experience in a manufacturing environment and learn about the inner workings of how standard costs are developed and maintained
Identify outliers in relation to margin or potential data integrity issues
Work closely with manufacturing engineers to ensure BOM & Routing are aligned with current production procedures
Assist with developing a go forward plan to ensure BOM & Routing are maintained on a go forward basis
Qualification
Required
Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field
Analytical mindset
Ability to work cross functionally with Finance, Manufacturing Engineers, & Product Managers
Understanding of cost accounting and interest in Manufacturing
Sees the importance of data integrity, as it's the foundation for making business decisions
Full-time availability for Summer 2027
