The Commercial Lending Intern is responsible for working with the Commercial Lending team to conduct financial analysis, prepare credit memorandums, and complete other tasks and projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
Assists with the preparation of memorandums and loan approval summaries for prospective and renewing loans in an accurate, logical, and a timely manner
Assists with conducting loan portfolio analysis. This includes, but is not limited to, researching and analyzing financial statement data, evaluating industry trends, and creating projections
Accompanies relationship managers on prospective and existing customer calls to discuss borrowing needs
Responsible for shadowing, asking questions, and gaining insight into the duties and responsibilities of all Commercial Lending functions
Responsible for completing a variety of tasks and special projects which may include data input, validation and analysis, report preparation, and maintaining data files and other records
Maintains regular and reliable attendance, punctuality and personal appearance
Performs any other related duties as required or assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Some college and/or equivalent related experience
Regular use of desktop/laptop computer and basic operating systems
Basic experience with alphanumeric data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
