The Finance Co-op will gain practical experience by working on assignments that align with their academic studies in Accounting or Finance, providing valuable learning and contributing meaningfully to the business.
Responsibilities
Apply academic knowledge to real-world financial analysis, reporting, and accounting projects.
Support the accounting team in achieving performance goals and take on increasing responsibility throughout the co-op rotation.
Collaborate with internal departments and may interface with customers and vendors to improve processes.
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Participate in regular departmental meetings and contribute to team discussions.
Attend company-provided training sessions and learning opportunities to broaden knowledge and skills.
Assist with system analysis, testing, and documentation for current financial processes.
Own and manage assigned projects from start to finish with accountability for outcomes.
Support cross-functional teams on financial and operational initiatives, including new product launches and process optimization.
Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time, meeting provided specifications and project goals.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualification
Required
Strong foundational knowledge of finance or accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial software a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
Must be a U.S. Person status or permanent resident.
Must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
