HSBC is hiring a Business Analyst intern to support Finance and Treasury teams with analysis for business-critical decisions. The role involves reviewing data, supporting reporting, identifying trends and communicating findings to stakeholders, with potential work across planning, liquidity, capital, regulatory reporting and transformation.
Responsibilities
You’ll work with Finance and Treasury teams on analysis that supports business-critical decisions
You could help review financial and treasury data, identify trends, support reporting and turn findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders
Depending on your placement, you may contribute to work linked to planning and analysis, liquidity, capital, balance sheet management, regulatory reporting or transformation activity
You may also help improve reporting through digital, AI or automation tools, and support teams by preparing summaries, presentations or dashboards
It’s a practical role where you’ll see how analysis supports strategy, resilience and decision-making across the bank

Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a 2:1 degree classification or higher, or an overseas equivalent
Be expecting to graduate in 2028
Be in the penultimate year of your undergraduate studies
Be fluent in English
