Quanex is a production company that manufactures solar panels and building products. They are seeking a Finance & Accounting Intern to gain hands-on accounting experience and assist with various accounting projects and tasks.
Responsibilities
Learn & gain first-hand accounting experience
Practice accounting knowledge and skills in a professional setting
Assist Accountants and other financial professionals with day-to-day responsibilities
Support accounting teams with various accounting projects and tasks
Perform research on technical accounting matters, as they arise
May rotate between accounting and finance departments
Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
Qualification
Required
In the process of completing a bachelor’s in accounting or finance
Have completed introductory accounting courses and have a basic understanding of financial principles
Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic and changing environment
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Must possess a strong customer service orientation with high sense of urgency in meeting goals and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
