Responsibilities
Performing and reviewing analysis of health care data using Excel
Analysis, data manipulation and summarization of large health care data sets using statistical analysis software (e.g. SAS, WPS, Access and SPSS)
Balancing multiple projects and effectively managing time to ensure successful completion by deadlines
Internal communication and presentation of analyses
Qualification
Required
BA/BS students pursuing a degree in actuarial science, mathematics or similar course of study including economics, finance, or statistics; with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Interest in healthcare finance and policy
Ability to fit in and work with a driven, dedicated team
Preferred
Exposure to data analytical programming (SAS, SQL, WPS, Python) is beneficial but not required
Successful completion of actuarial exams is beneficial but not required
