Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions provides customized specialty insurance solutions supported by risk control and claims services. The Actuarial Intern will join the Corporate Actuarial team to assist with actuarial projects, gain practical experience in property-casualty insurance, and perform work typically assigned to entry-level actuarial professionals.

You will focus on developing the skills necessary for success by working with and assisting professionals with day-to-day job assignments and special projects
While your assignments will vary over time as you gain experience and skills, interns will typically perform some of the work of an entry-level actuarial professional
Qualification
Required
Must be working towards a bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field and graduating in December 2027 or later
Proficiency with computer software including current Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and other data entry and spreadsheet applications and programs
Strong mathematical aptitude
Outstanding organization/time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
Preferred
Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams is a plus
