CME Group is the world’s leading derivatives marketplace, currently looking for an Accounting summer intern. The intern will assist the Accounting Department with day-to-day activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and corporate accounting functions.
Responsibilities
Processing supplier invoices
Customer collections
Creation of journal entries
Account reconciliations
Creating or updating financial schedules
Other projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets experience required
Competency in Microsoft Word or Google Docs and Gmail
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in business at a 4 year college or university as an accounting or finance major
Minimum GPA of 3.5 on 4 point scale
Preferred
Workday experience a plus
Work experience in a corporate environment a plus
