This part-time role offers valuable experience in industry accounting, focusing on sub-ledger processes and supporting various finance and accounting functions.
Responsibilities
Process and post documents, including accounts payable, customer invoicing, and cash application. Reconcile vendor statements.
Assist with sales tax return processing and payment, tax research, and audit support.
Support general ledger processes, perform spreadsheet analysis, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and assist with audit information requests.
Identify and recommend process improvements, evaluate metrics to reduce errors, and review/revise written procedures.
Qualification
Required
Junior or senior student pursuing a BS or MSA degree in Accounting.
A solid understanding of accounting and general ledger principles.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills.
