Group 1 Automotive, Inc. is a Fortune 250 leader in global automotive retail, operating more than 250 dealerships and collision centers. They are seeking an Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Assisting with general accounting processes
Participating in month-end financial close activities
Supporting financial analysis and reporting efforts
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
Conducting research and assisting with special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
Gain practical experience in accounting within a reputable automotive company.
