Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Intern for their Summer Internship program in Chicago, Illinois. The intern will assist with various accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations, income tax return preparation, and will participate in meaningful projects that impact the business.
Responsibilities
Assist with compiling, reviewing, and processing bank reconciliations
Work on accounting investigations
Income tax return preparation
Communicate with various properties to discuss accounting matters
Perform a variety of accounting tasks involving bookkeeping and/or compiling financial information; monitor and reconcile accounts
Perform internal projects
Participate in a cross-functional group project
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a college or university program with a focus on Accounting
Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0
Demonstrated problem solving skills in customer focused environment
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently
