Olin Corporation is a well-established leader in ammunition and chemicals manufacturing, and they are seeking an Accounting Intern for the Fall of 2025. The role involves hands-on experience in various accounting tasks such as posting journal entries and supporting senior accountant projects.
Responsibilities
Posting Journal Entries
Uploading support for entries in SAP
Supporting Senior Accountant tasks/projects
Analyzing Functional activity/postings
Assist the Sr. Accountant to review inventory adjustment postings and MRO refurbishment orders.
Qualification
Required
Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Accounting or business-related degree program.
Must be enrolled in a local college or university and within a reasonable commute of an Olin worksite if working part-time while completing courses; OR Housing stipend is provided for students living 50 or more miles from an Olin location and working full time in lieu of their normal semester.
Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (Documentation required). Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
Must have completed sophomore year prior to assignment with Olin.
Ability to work part time (20 hours a week) during normal business hours (8:00 am - 4:30 pm EST) if working while going to local classes; relocating students are expected to work 40 hours a week. Not eligible for virtual work.
Must have a valid US driver's license.

Prior Olin internship or co-op experience preferred.
